Why Join

Join the growing AEFL family and be the change in the equine assisted industry. 

​

AEFL members are made up of a range of different professionals and services who have horses (and other animals) working with them as an essential part of their service delivery.

 

AEFL Providers can be: 

 

  • Certified Practicing and non-practicing EFL facilitators

  • Allied Health Professionals 

  • Coaches and Teachers/Educators or Learning Support

  • Industry Professionals or Experts

Becoming a provider member plays an important role in the equine assisted industry by ensuring, but not limited to: 

​

  • Delivering Equine Facilitated Learning to a consistent set of ethics and standards;

  • Supporting and delivering education to the general public and medical professionals the benefits of Equine Facilitated Learning; 

  • Connecting service providers to potential clients; 

  • Creating employment opportunities to everyday horse men and women. 

All members are subjected;

  • Always abiding by the AEFL Ethics and Standards

  • Membership is non-refundable

  • Required to hold a minimum Level 1 AEFL Facilitator Certificate 

  • Must hold a current First Aid Certificate & CPR certificates

  • Must have a valid and current Insurance Certificate of Currency 

  • Must hold appropriate Working with Children (WWC), Disability (NDIS Support Worker Clearance Card) and/or Vulnerable People Card/s (As per state legislation) 

  • Must provide a completed AEFL Providers Activity Form with "Other Continuous Development" criteria and proof

  • Available for Audit and Performance Review

AEFL Provider Members Receive;

  • 12 months membership 

  • Discounted access to all AEFL Member Events

  • Ability to promote Logo, services, qualification, contact details & information blurb on AEFL website in the  "Find a Provider" directory

  • Ability to promote Logo & services on AEFL Social Media (Where possible)

  • Use of AEFL seals and logos for media purposes (Downloadable logo available) 

  • Access to downloadable business documentation & templates

  • 15% Discount on a Level up clinics or Re-certification 

  • 10% Discount at the AEFL Shop (excludes AEFL Provider Membership)
